- Support Regional Controller in providing and supervision and direction to property accounting staff to maintain accurate property level and corporate accounting information - Ensure the integrity of the general ledgers and financial statements - Review management and joint venture reports, monthly and quarterly financial packages for accuracy and assist in timely submittal as needed- Review and assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts - Assist Regional Controller in the review and implementation of effective systems and internal control procedures- Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of property accounting operations - Coordinate with Property Accounting staff for internal/external auditors requests - Review compliance of mortgage loan covenants from Property Accountants - Assist with corporation compliance requirements as needed

Audit and Tax Services:• Supervise, execute, and finalize financial audits, reviews, and compilations for privately held commercial and residential real estate properties, development projects and service industry companies• Prepare OCBOA, U.S. GAAP and IFRS financial statements and related disclosures• Manage deadlines, budgets, and resources for various audit engagement projects • Analyze LP and LLC agreements, closing binders, management agreements and loan documents• Review and prepare property tax certioraris for submission to attorneys• Successfully build and motivate dynamic teams, encouraging a culture in which staff members feel comfortable voicing questions and concerns• Manage all elements of business relationships with clients, including recommending services, fee negotiations, billing and daily client service needs• Supervise, mentor and evaluate senior auditors and professional staff• Prepare partnership and individual tax returns using CCH Pro-System software• Prepare manuals to help audit staff conduct efficient engagements Due Diligence:• Perform timely, accurate and reliable financial due diligence for commercial/residential real estate acquisitions of a prestigious pension fund (Fortune 100 financial services firm)• Review Argus projections to leases, operating escalations, common area maintenance, historical and projected income statements
