Currently involved in the following activities:- Takeover of companies in the Bio-diesel, Solar photovoltaic, Low Energy Lighting and IT sectors, structuring their financial models and obtaining funding from the banks for the same- Interacting with the managements of the investee companies as well as Group companies, reviewing their business performance and assist them in financial structuring - Structuring and implementing systems for scientific decision making for investment and lending activities- Co-ordinate for due diligence activities for investment decision making- Providing feedback on the performance of the investee companies as well as Group companies to the management- Undertaking Rating exercise for the Group Companies from Rating Agency in accordance with Basel II NormsApart from the above, the job responsibilities also include in Directing the Finance and Accounting Departments of the Group by:- Establishing and monitoring corporate financial policies- Analysis of economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on such policies and business operations - Undertaking business planning exercise, preparing forecasts, formulating reporting procedures, and taking corrective action in order- Supervising Cash Management & Treasury activities of the Company- Liaisioning with the financial institutions, etc. for meeting the Group’s working capital and other financial requirements- Setting up and monitoring of systems and procedures for MIS, budgeting and control- Responsible for monitoring investments made via angel investing route- Co-ordinate for various types of audits and monitoring statutory compliances under provisions of NBFC Regulations, Tax Regulations, etc.

- Managing the Cashflows of the Company- Interacting with Banks and obtaining loans from the Banks to meet the liquidity requirements of the Company- Interacting with the Branch heads and Customers for recoveries to maintain the liquidity- Appraising the Indian management as well as the management of the Holding Company with the performance of the Company- Reporting the facts and figures of the Indian subsidiary to the Global Finance Head - Attending conferences and meets with the management of the Holding Company for matters such as Budget approvals, Forecasts, Business plans, etc.- Directing the finance team on day to day matters- Supervising consolidation processes for monthly financial performance and financial forecast- Directing analysis of economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the company’s policies and operations- Ensuring Profitability of the Company- Setting up and monitoring of systems and procedures for MIS, budgeting and control.- Co-ordinating for various types of audits of the Company.- Liasioning with the financial institutions, suppliers, etc.- Monitoring statutory compliances under provisions of Corporate laws, Income-Tax Act, Wealth Tax Act, etc.- Representing the Company before relevant Government authorities.- Monitoring the implementation of new customized back office software.

Transfer Pricing:• Conducting Transfer Pricing studies as required under the Income-tax Regulations and issuing study reports and Accountant’s Report.Banking and Financial Services:• Providing advisory and compliance services relating to Tax, FEMA and Other Regulations to clients in financial sector.• Advising and assisting foreign clients in setting-up entity in India.• Team leader for development of FII Income computation software.Others:• Representing clients before the tax authorities in the Income-tax Department.

• Interacting with the clients to know their business and enriching them with necessary regulatory requirements of Indian / International Tax Laws, FEMA, Corporate and Other related laws.• Representing clients before the various regulatory authorities like Income-tax authorities, RBI officials, Profession-tax authorities and Municipal authorities.• Providing advisory and compliance services to expatriates with regard to Direct Tax laws of India and examining various International tax treaties for claiming benefit under the Double Tax Avoidance Agreements.• Conducting due diligence review of the Target Company.• Assisting domestic companies in structuring their International operations by examining direct tax, personal tax laws and other regulatory requirements of foreign countries.
