‘Connecting The Dots’ (CTD) was established with a deep faith that teaching disciplines like Math and Science should be made more practical. Science and Math, even in the better schools in India, tend to remain abstract and confined to textbooks. The extremely “exam” oriented approach of our education system merely prepares children for exams – and not to develop a deep understanding or appreciation of any subject. It is this problem that CTD attempts to address by getting children to truly enjoy & understand these subjects. It is vital that children appreciate that the modern world we live in is made possible because of Science & Math – and that there is a strong connection between what they study in their textbooks and the world around us.We work with schools as an integrated part of their syllabus and time-table to deliver our brand of Science & Math to children. We collaborate with NGOs to take Science & Math to less-privileged children. In the 8 years we have partnered in corporate CSR programs to reach children in Government schools. Our programs also benefit high school students in affordable private schools (APS) in different parts of Karnataka, AP, Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Currently over 14,000 students benefit from our programs every day. Teacher training is the other area of activity for us. We deliver teacher training programs in schools and B.Ed colleges.
