Worked as a Technical Support Engineer for Unified Threat Management products at Sophos Technologies PLC mainly for Sophos SG and XG devices.Technical experience and knowledge gained of following network technologies :• Intrusion Prevention (IPS and IDS), management and configuration of Firewall rules for flow of traffic to and from UTM. • Web and Application Filters used to scan, control and process HTTP and HTTPs traffic and for controlling access of internet of various applications used on either Windows, MAC OS and smartphones i.e Android, Apple iOS, Windows OS and so on.• IPSec tunnels which includes establishing and troubleshooting issues with IPSec tunnels between multi-vendor products with Sophos firewalls along with cloud based products such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS.• Remote Access Technologies like establishing and troubleshooting issues with connectivity of SSL VPN, L2TP, PPTP and HTML5 SSL VPN(Bookmarks).• Email Protection such as troubleshooting and setting up scanning rules for SMTP traffic such as IP reputation, Malware Scanning, Content Scanning and SPAM check for inbound and outbound emails. Including this is SPX Encryption for secure transport of emails and controlled access to emails sent from within the Sophos protected network to the internet.• Establishing and troubleshooting Wireless Networks such as Sophos Access Points connectivity to Sophos UTMs and broadcasting SSIDs with proper usage policies applied including the use of Hotspot features like Password of the Day and OTP (One Time Passwords). Also setting up Voucher based internet access of Wireless managed networks for limited usage based on time or total amount of bandwith.
