Handling a senior HR role for a hospitality conglomerate for the Asia region based in Singapore. Role included hiring across Asia, strategic HR projects, business partnering, senior leadership HR support, C&B, end-to-end HR etc. Role encompassed overseeing of HR for about 20 properties across Asia ( Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia) with an employee base of 6000. Was also an integral part of a new signature millennial hotel start-up from a culture building, manpower budgeting, hiring strategy etc.

Reporting to the Head of HR and working closely with multiple Business Heads across various business verticals, managed all aspects of HR including talent acquisition, creating a world class employee experience, performance management, talent management, stakeholder management etc. Thrived in a high pressure environment and had the opportunity to work with stalwarts within the Ad world.

Managed senior level HR business partnering for the Television business (Star TV), Radio business (Radio City 91 FM) and was also involved at the initial stages in the setup of Star News channel. Establishing HR systems & processes across the organisation, Recruitment on large scale as the company was poised for major growth ( hired over 300 employees within less than a year ) at junior, middle & senior levels, worked closely with business leaders, fully involved in successfully migrating payroll to Hewitt, instrumental in setting up 4 Radio stations for Radio City from a people and HR aspect. Had the opportunity to work with the best brains in the media industry.

Was managing HR at the factory level and later moved to Chennai to manage the South region comprising of 2 factories and the entire sales team from the HR perspective. Responsible for end to end HR for the region. Start-up green field operations for Castrol. This factory was the best in the world for Burmah Castrol plc and the 2nd largest in the world and was tasked with starting the HR dept and put into place world class HR practices. Kaizan implementation and rolling out the TPM program within the factory. This factory became a benchmark for best, creative & out-of-the-box HR practices within the Castrol family.
