Worked as Profit Centre Head with M/S NSL Sugars Ltd.,Hydrabad (a Company of NSL Group) as Chief Executive Officer for their Sugar, Refinery, Cogeneration of Power and Alcohol business, leading the overall affairs. Created a long term business plan for ambitious growth to mark presence not only in India but also globally. Aggressively targeted acquisitions, expansion and setting up Green Field Sugar Complex. Explored setting up New Port Based Sugar Refinery in India at Paradip, Orisa and at Ghana in West Africa. Visited countries in East and West Africa frequently to explore setting up Sugar Complexes with big agri lands. Involvement in arrangement of Finances by way of dealing with Banks and Merchant bankers, Interfacing with the outside people connected with the business, Creating good HR practices. During my tenure, the Company acquired two sugar factories in cane rich area of Maharashtra and North Karnataka and expanded the capacities of Sugar from 8000 TCD to 27000 TCD, Renewable Cogen Power from 28 MW to 152 MW with multi fuel 110 kg/psig boilers and Distillery from 45 KLPD to 120 KLPD based on Grain & Molasses both across five sugar factories in the States of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.

In Nov, 2003, joined as Vice President (Unit Head) at their Gola Gokarannath Sugar Unit having capacity of 13000 TCD with 100 KLPD Distillery.From 2005 to 2007 headed their sugar plant at Kinnouni, Meerut with 12000 TCD capacity with integrated refinery. During the period, the capacity was expanded from 8000 TCD to 12000 TCD and one Distillery of 160 KLPD was newly erected at Kinnouni.In May, 2007 I was elevated as President-(Operations) and looked after nine sugar units in the State of Uttar Pradesh as Chief Of Operations till 3rd June, 2010.During my association, the group implemented 11 green field projects with three acquisitions and expansions of capacities from 17000 TCD to 150000 TCD of Sugar, from 160 KLPD to 800 KLPD of Distilleries and also Cogen to 300+ MW. I had been actively involved in Corporate Strategic Planning for ambitious growth plans viz. setting up New Sugar Units and Capacity Expansions etc besides control of operations.

Worked as head of the Profit Centre for 7 years and looked after the overall affairs of the Sugar Factory of 6250 TCD capacity leading and coordinating a team of professionals. My reporting was to the Chairman Cum Managing Director of the company.Completed successfully expansion of the plant from 3500 TCD to 6250 TCD in 1999 with massive cane development and varietal improvement achieving 2nd highest recovery in UP. Profitability of the company improved manifold during my tenure.

Job responsibilities included Raising of funds from Banks and Institutions, Liasioning with Govt Officials etc. initially. After promotion as GM in 1995, looked after the affairs as profit centre head and did the expansion of the plant to 4000 TCD and entiltled the unit for Sugar Incentives Scheme of Central Govt. for 10 years.
