Relinquished role as managing principal of the firm and portfolio manager of the funds in January 2023.The two funds, PVP Focused Value Fund LP and PVP Diversified Value Fund LP had cumulative returns of approximately 92% and 64% from October 2020 through December 2022, following an unlevered, fully invested, long-only strategy. Over the same period, the S&P500 returned approximately 22% and the Russell 1000 Value Benchmark returned approximately 36%.

Founder of an asset management partnership, established and managed the PACS Opportunity Fund LP. The PACS Opportunity Fund LP was a pooled investment vehicle ("hedge fund") following a "fundamental thematic" strategy. We focused on identifying and investing in themes across asset classes, including equities, FX, rates, and commodities. All the assets of the fund were exchange traded and thus offered excellent liquidity and pricing transparency. The fund was registered as a commodity pool with the CFTC. The Fund operated actively from November 2013 through June 2019 and delivered a net annualized return exceeding that of the S&P 500 and most hedge fund benchmarks. The strategy also produced positive returns in each of the four major asset classes - equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities.

Founded the ABS/MBS group at Citi Alternative Investors (later re-named Citi Capital Advisors). Started and ran the Citi Mortgage/Credit Opportunities Fund, a hedge fund focused on non-agency and agency mortgage-backed securities and related instruments.

Started a structured products business on the platform of a large multi-strategy hedge fund. Was an investor in, as well as an issuer of, various kind of securitized products (e.g. CLOs, CDOs, ABS, RMBS). Founded and ran a relative value hedge fund (HSPI Relative Value). Built and managed an investment team and proprietary front office systems.

Investor in securitized credit and high yield credit. Analyzed and invested in various cash and synthetic structures. Early investor in subprime ABS (long and short); CDOs/CLOs/CBOs; as well as tranches of high-yield and investment grade credit derivative indices. Designed proprietary systems to analyze complex structured credit investments.
