  • Heart Of England Nhs Foundation Trust
    Technical Team Leader Ict
Heart Of England Nhs Foundation Trust Aug 2015 - Sep 2016
Rajesh’s role predominately involved providing IT support and advice to all functions across the hospital. Advising the end user and the Service Delivery Manager along with my peers to deliver the highest levels of customer service to our users across the trust and out in the community. Rajesh, as all always, went above and beyond in this role, delivering more than could have been expected in the role. Working at a much higher level, he was tasked with coordinating, running, recruiting and allocating resources to projects for ICT and where necessary external suppliers or contractors. Insuring that there was adequate resource for BAU as well as project work, creating rota's and building in contingency to ensure timely and cost effect service delivery, something which I achieved even in the most difficult of circumstances.A very productive and valued member of the team, I was constantly sought for advice and guidance by superiors who were happy to take on board my ideas along with various tried and tested working practices that I had used to bring about economical and resource efficiency to the department. Working at the hospital allowed Rajesh to further put in to practice industry standards, particularly ITIL and Prince 2, its procedures and methods. Having a great deal of business experience, risk and potential impact assessment, strong management and technical abilities, he was also tasked to be the Change Manager and Priority one incident coordinator, approving changes that could impact the lives of patients and the trust reputation.

Another clear demonstration of Rajesh’s persistence, resilience and strategic thinking. Rajesh clearly demonstrated in this role, he is still able to hold his own in a very technical role, rapidly gaining the admiration of his peers. In this role, Rajesh predominately provided IT support and advice to all functions across the hospital, supporting the end user either face to face or via the telephone on all hospital systems including Lorenzo. In this role, he rapidly become a very productive and valued member of the team, imparting both my excellent technical skills, knowledge and organizational ability to improve overall productivity and efficiency. His excellent interpersonal skills were shown by how quickly the team, his managers and the staff became accustomed to him, relying on him to deliver. They were able to speak to him for help, guidance and advice without concern, knowing he had the experience and knowledge to assist not just technically, but managerially and will provide informed answers and solutions. In this role, Rajesh also worked closely with the project team and assisted with projects currently underway as well as some purely under the control of ICT.
