I’m the Vice President, Product Management (Marine Operations) for BASS Software Ltd. A highly experienced Maritime/shipping professional with IT background bringing over 28+ years’ experience in variety of areas in maritime industry including Marine Engineer, Ship Management, Project Management and development of Maritime/shipping ERP solutions.In my current role I lead the company’s Product Management and Marketing efforts, overseeing a team of Maritime and ERP professionals and managing the short and long term product strategy and roadmap. In My previous role as Product Manager for BASS Software Ltd, I was responsible for managing End-to-End businesses processes, process design, and business solution architecture for Maintenance, Purchasing, Safety & Quality management, accounting, and human resource/payroll systems.I have also worked as, Project Manager for implementation of maritime software applications and develop PMS databases that generate value. Before joining BASS Software Ltd, I worked for Barber Ship Management (now Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA) as Marine Engineer in various capacities with experience from different types of complex ships.I’m certified Oracle DBA and attended certification course in SAP - Materials Management (MM) Module.
