• Responsible for Material Management such as unloading, verification record and issue of material at site. Proper accounting & documentation of incoming material• Material storage and preservation. Maintenance of stock registers and bin cards of all items and tools & Plants; Perpetual stock verification of all items as decided (frequency of stock verification according to the class of items)• Maintenance of record for receipt and issue of material to sub-contractors, store reconciliation. Issue of material to sites/sub-contractors and maintenance of sub-contractor wise issue register • Keep record of site purchases. Review of Purchase Indent, Obtaining Quotation & Negotiation of materials, Order Processing, Review of Pending material for delivery• Liaison with insurance company and handle the insurance claim wherever applicable. Lodge insurance claim for short/damage/theft materials and follow up with concern departments• Liaison with transporters for part consignments.• Maintain good house keeping and safety in the department. Ensure adequate and appropriate fire fighting equipment and positioned in all storage placesPreparation of MIS. Provide the necessary information and reports to Site In-charge; Co-ordination and reporting to Stores department at HO regarding details activities
