Devops Engineer
Current• Ensuring seamless operation of the platform, troubleshoot and address all issues in timely manner for 7 production environments.• Good experience in debugging microservice applications hosted on Kubernetes, Networking(switches and routing) and OS level issues for production support. • Experience with building, deploying and managing applications and software on PaaS with OpenShift Kubernetes platform• Monitoring the system to prevent, detect, inform, and escalate malfunctions and loss of services or data on the platform through ELK stack and Prometheus• Build a Production environment replica using virtualization to provide test bed for developers and testing using Linux-KVM and other virtualization technologies like Vagrant.• Highly involved in automation of platform setup and component upgrade using Ansible.• Maintained bootstrap files and software used to kickstart infra setup using Networking protocols like HTTP, TFTP, SNMP, SFTP, DHCP, LDAP, SCP, TELNET• Set up CI/CD Pipelines from version control(git) to maintain code and automate the build jobs in Bamboo to store artifacts/docker images in the repository• Other tools include the use of Helm, K8s, Docker, Kustomize, yaml, Shell, Python , UNIX/LINIX, jinja2, Jenkins, Jfrog, Grafana
