I am a Management Consulting professional with significant experience in the natural resources based industries (chemicals, energy, metals), with experience across Strategy/ Supply Chain/ Operations/ Cost Reduction/ Performance Improvement/ Trading & Risk Management (Cross-industry). My experience includes engagements with companies in other sectors too - including Pharma, Healthcare, Mutual Funds, Telecom, etc.I took a detour into the world of HR for a few years, at the end of which tenure I was HR Lead for all of our technology delivery centres in Asia-Pacific (~110,000 resources at the time).I started my own independent consulting firm recently (Metis Consulting, 2016), and I seek to work with clients across the spectrum - MNCs, Not For Profits, SMEs, Investee Companies of VC Firms, etc...I now spend most of my time in Education, through my participation in GenWise. Our (GenWise) mission is to design appropriate enhancements to current curricula - with emphasis on rapidly evolving technologies and tools, balance between the individual and the world around, inspiring children to appreciate the beauty of maths and science, among other things - put together a top notch team of mentors, bring together highly talented children, sow the seeds and allow good things to happen!I also work with old friends, as a faculty on the Mind Matters team, training client personnel on "Consulting" skills - Structured Thinking & Problem Solving, Data Analysis, High Impact Presentations, Effective Business Communication, Project Management, Client Relationship Management, etc.
