The Policy Innovation Hub - recently shortlisted as one of Apolitical's 100 teams teaching government the skills of the future - is an in-house consulting team that partners with ministries to deliver on government priorities by providing hands-on support, training, and flexible resources. The Hub combines traditional and innovative consulting into practice areas and services focused on public sector innovation: strategy and strategic foresight, systemic design, and service design.• Led project teams comprised of ministry staff and service providers, overseeing all areas of project management, monitoring progress against targets, and assessing risk and issues throughout project lifecycles• Lead Project Journalist for the Hub - led the research, writing, and delivery of the Hub's case study series "The Innovation Files." Includes collaborating across government departments to researched draft, and design case studies that showcase and amplify innovative work across the Ontario Public Service. • Provided strategic support to ministries to solve problems and work in new ways, including using service design and systems design methodologies to better address citizen needs and map interactions between stakeholders and systems• Graphic design lead responsible for overall Hub marketing and branding. Includes ensuring all Hub materials and internal website had a consistent design, tone, and aesthetic (pitch decks, workshop/event materials, logos, etc.)• Worked collaboratively with team members to design, facilitate and evaluate capacity-building, course-based workshops on topics such as Strategic Foresight, Human-Centred Design, and User Research
