Leveraging my combined expertise as a Broadcast Consultant and Engineer, I create impactful audio-visual solutions that consistently exceed expectations for major broadcasters and events. My skillset is comprehensive, encompassing system design, equipment installation, technical support, project management, and team leadership. This holistic approach ensures flawless operations, from the initial blueprint to flawless execution. My deep technical foundation is further bolstered by MCSE and PMI certifications alongside a computer science degree.However, my passion extends beyond industry work. I'm driven by a desire to empower the next generation of storytellers. At North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College (NWSLC), I played a key role in igniting a passion for broadcast technology within students and staff. This dedication manifested in the design, construction, and successful launch of their very first TV/Radio Studio – a project delivered under budget and ahead of schedule. Furthermore, I developed and delivered engaging training courses while providing the technical backbone for a wide range of student-led productions. This included live shows, hybrid events, outside broadcasts, and even cutting-edge VR 360 live streaming.Beyond technical expertise, my mission extends to pushing the boundaries of broadcasting, reaching new audiences across diverse platforms. As a seasoned Technical Director with over 600 live television shows under my belt, I possess an unwavering focus on delivering impactful visuals for both scripted and non-scripted productions. My background as a multi-skilled studio operator has equipped me with over 1,200 hours of hands-on experience in camera work, vision control, audio mixing, robotics operation, and lighting. This translates into a leadership style that goes above and beyond the call of duty. I consistently train new staff, lead shifts effectively, and play a pivotal role in equipment upgrades.
