As national CEO of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Raj drove a major turnaround of the company significantly reducing costs and driving operational excellence across core functions ensuring the survival of the company. He built a strong leadership team and a culture of performance accountability based on data and metrics. He defined a new growth strategy for the company while creating/executing against a robust inorganic growth pipeline. As Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, with ~25 years of consulting experience, he worked across nearly every segment of health care. He is expert in strategic planning, growth and operations. He has led a wide range of C-suite level initiatives - including growth strategy, turnarounds, large scale cost reduction programs, global M&A, post-merger integrations, operations optimization, product launches, sales & marketing growth initiatives, customer segmentation, pricing optimization, clinical operations, organization development/design, board governance, portfolio optimization, business development strategy and target assessment, and business process redesign. He serves on the boards of companies in both a governance and advisory capacity bringing to bear his diverse/deep expertise. Prior to McKinsey, he was a practicing health care attorney and completed his internship in internal medicine.
