With a team of 4 highly specialized professionals (psychiatrist, psychologist, geneticist/ molecular neuroscientist, computational neuroscientist), we are dedicated to revolutionizing the field of mental health by leveraging the power of precision medicine, big data driven AI & computational tools . We have been providing different aspects of mental health care few of which have been conceptualized and developed at iBrains in collaboration with private and public partners.

1) Consultant Neuroscientist - from bench to bedside - bridging the practice gap - to advise the clinicians on integrating neuroscientific perspectives into their routine psychiatric practice and introduce them to various resources to help them acquire necessary skills.2) Developing biomarkers (clinical, fluid, neuroimaging electro-physiological) for neuropsychiatric disorders (currently focusing on neurodegenerative disorders).3) Bringing together of diverse medical data to build AI models for disease risk prediction and develop screening protocols for high risk individuals (currently focusing on neurodegenerative disorders).4) Non-invasive Neuromodulation5) Creating awareness and educating the public on neuroscience and mental health

Driving medical affairs at the global level, working cross-functionally for Phase 3 clinical drug development for Alzheimer's disease

Providing healthcare and genetic services to a large community during the Covid-19 pandemic

• Was Instrumental in setting up a new lab, characterized a pre-clinical animal model of an Autistic syndrome, discovered disease phenomena, and tested a potential therapeutic drug with a promising outcome • Showed experimentally the effects of opioids on breathing using a mouse model which helps to prevent opioid overdose and intoxication that is rampant in drug addicts.• Explored therapeutic modulation of brain circuitry implicated in Parkinson’s disease.

• Spearheaded 3 projects discovering a novel cell signaling mechanism important for learning & memory in the brain publishing 2 original articles & fetch 2 research grants.• discovering new glutamate neurotransmission with implications for DBS (deep brain stimulation) for Parkinson’s disease.

• Handled several research projects while training 5 students and discovered major concepts in cell membrane biology leading to 4 publications and research grants worth ~$250K. • Biologically validated a newly invented super resolution STED microscope, whose inventor Prof. Hell later won the Nobel prize in 2014 for chemistry

Performed examination, admission, treatment, and care of thousands of patients including accidents & emergencies while interacting with several KOLs in the fields of Internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, immunology, neurology, psychiatry, neurosurgery.• Clinical trials (Manipal Hospital) – Learnt on clinical trials & clinical research process while being part of Anti-sense oligonucleotide phase 3 trials for glioma patients and built a relationship with KOLs in the field of oncology, neurology & neurosurgery.
