Rajib has 32 years of professional experiences in the areas of Non-farm, Enterprise and Market Development, Vocational training, etc. including few years of experiences on Common Property Resource development (Social forestry), livelihoods, Natural Resource Management and micro-finance. While working for the market development program the emphasis has been on private sector with a value chain approach on a systemic way for inclusive development including very poor, which is sustainable and facilitates the future businesses growth in the countries. The system approach development is facilitated with the provision of Business Development services, Institutional Development (Associations, Cooperatives, formal & informal groups), Skill Development, Access to financial & non-financial products, Pro-industrial policies, etc. While accomplishing these program, Rajib has developed experiences on strategic program design where the community is at the center and also been instrumental in developing projects on their need under the overall country specific mandate and priorities. In the process of implementation, the focus has been on developing and facilitating cutting edge monitoring and evaluation system and process for quality program delivery as per the agreed design. As a process of exit strategy, Rajib has put emphases on local capacity building and working at a systemic level. Networking and collaborations with stakeholders in general and Government in particular brings in better results and this has been one of his priority area of working.
