On going M.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering at Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. My Project:Spatial Planning ToolProject Scope: The objective of this software is to enable the proper utilize of our land for sustainable development saving natural resource like forest, wetlands and develop rail network ,road network ,gas line or power station ,industry .The proper use of our land enrich our environment.Project Description: This spatial planning tool will be helpful for urban planner ,civil engineer ,geologist ,hydrologist ,water resource engineer and geo researcher to develop our land properly. Actually this tool is helpful for decision making using spatial data such as GIS data( shape file) and GIS advance technology such as digital elevation model(DEM) which is integrated google map API. Included this tool Tee -chart pro for crating Tee chart to compare for grid data analysis. In this application , many layer for data analysis such as administrative boundary , thana boundary, district boundary ,division boundary, international boundary, road network, railway network, flooding zone , sezmic zone , inundant height , industry location , canal , bridge ,culvert, river ,wetlands ,forest, protected area, buffer zone should be added. Any technical person can be used this tool.zoom in,zoom out, identity, existing road tracker ,pan, distance measure, circle buffer , tagging location ,longitude and latitude. Google API also help us for this which is integrated with my application. An user can be exported the proposed design as image format such as jpeg , tif etc. and the teechart. Method: Web-enbled and GIS-based Spatial Planning Tool will be designed and developed using standard four-tier architecture of software development. It consists of the following layers.• Presentation Layer (user-interface)• Web Server• Application Server• Data Server
