Responsible for Project Procurement & Sub-Contract management for upstream Oil & Gas. Also responsible for all the estimation related work for the new proposals by reviewing and analyzing the tender documents from commercial and contractual point of view considering the salient conditions, clarifications, exceptions and deviations, risk identification & participating in the pre / post bid meetings and negotiations. Examine Instructions to Bidders for tenders, purchase orders and texts of subcontracts before they are issued to ensure appropriate risk transfer and compliance with the main contract. Protect company from contract liabilities, damages, penalties by following established policies and procedures. Reviewing tender conditions / negotiating for equitable solutions. Notable Clients handled so far are ONGCL, British Gas, Ratnagiri Gas & Power Pvt. Ltd. (RGPPL) & GSPC.

Responsible for procurement management of the Reliance's JERP Project. Was also a part of the core team for assisting the bidding team to explore new projects where I have assisted for estimating the following projects: Sawan gas Compression project in Pakistan, CPC's MTF Project of Colombo - SriLanka, Cairn's Ravva Additional Pipelines project, KNPC's new refinery project and Dragon Oil's Project in Turkmenistan. For KNPC I had the experience of assisting the bid team from Dubai wherein I had the experience of interacting with the Guld based & International.

Participate in the global procurement process of the organization & procured materials for Essar OIl's Jamnagar Refinery project, undertaken detailed investigation of the marketplace, establishing cost effective purchase agreements, tendering and/or negotiations and Business Unit participation. Monitors supplier performance and contributes to the department through continuous improvement processes and project reviews, work towards having all necessary parts and materials available for use, on time, at the best possible total cost while meeting all drawing specifications. In addition to the standard procurement responsibilities, I had been handpicked to facilitate SAP implementation & ISO certifications for the Essar Group's Construction division. During the process, our team could sucessfully implemented SAP & ISO 9001 for ECL which spreads across different geographic locations. The responsibilities as a core member of implementaiton involved configuring the business requirements to get the desired results out of SAP. Training the end users at various geographic locations of the company. Essar Construction was the only EPC company in India, so far, to have implemented the MM & FICO module for pipeline projects.

Responsible for procurement function for setting up CP7, CP10 & CP11 Projects at Reliance Industries Hazira & Patalganga facilities respectively.

Responsible for procurement of equipments related to LQ module such as highly sophisticated lab;Equipments, electrical & mechanical workshop items, dcp skid package, diesel centrifuge, uv sterilizer, STP package, chain pulley blocks, hoists etc, DCP, Fire Protection package for - ONGC-MNW Project (US$ 177 Million) , - SONGO-SONGO Project - Tanzania US$ 90 Million & - QP-TANK FIRM UPGRADE Project US$ 100 Million.
