Qa Automation Engineer
CurrentIn my role as a software tester, I have actively participated in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement specification reviews, test documentation, application testing, and defect reporting. I collaborated in Requirement Specification Meetings (RSD) to grasp the functional requirements of applications, which helped me initialize test scenarios, flows, and procedures. My involvement extended to writing and designing templates for test plans and test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage for both positive and negative scenarios based on user stories.I have built automation frameworks from scratch using Selenium WebDriver, Java, JUnit, Cucumber, and IntelliJ, applying Java OOP concepts in the application design and development. My work included developing automation test scripts using the Page Object Model and conducting end-to-end REST API testing with Postman and REST Assured. Additionally, I leveraged tools like TestNG and Apache POI for data-driven testing and configured test cases using TestNG Data Provider Annotation. My experience also includes performing BDD with Cucumber and writing SQL statements for test data creation and validation.I have been extensively involved in application performance and security testing, identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring stability under load with JMeter. My testing efforts included cross-browser and regression testing using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Jenkins for continuous integration. I integrated automation scripts in Jenkins for nightly batch runs, conducted black box, database, and web-based testing, and ensured compatibility across browsers using various locators and Sauce Labs. Additionally, I utilized Maven for build management, Git for source control, and Jenkins for continuous integration of builds.
