Joined As Chief Projects Officer At Essar from April 22.In Charge of the blue hydrogen project at the Stanlow Refinery in UK. One of the early movers in UK to decarbonize the refinery operations. Also heading the creation of a Global Capability Centre for EPC in India.Joined Tata Projects as President & Chief Project Controls in May 2019 and have been pivotal in driving the progress of the on-going projects through several project control initiatives and robust Supply Chain Management.Prior to joining Tata Projects, was the EPC Head at Tata Power and have been Director as well as Steering Committee Member in several Tata Power Group Companies, including Tata Projects.A Graduate in Chemical Engineering, have more than 3 decades of rich and varied experience spanning Petrochemicals, Refineries, Thermal & Solar Power Plants, Buildings, Railways and Roads.In the initial years of my career, have worked on the largest Green-field Refinery in India at Jamnagar, Reliance. In my stint at Reliance, have worked in various capacities under the domain of Project Management and Contracts.With Tata Power, was instrumental in commissioning India’s First Ultra Mega Power Plant (UMPP) at Mundra in record time.In my previous roles, I have lead several initiatives such as e-procurement, e-invoice management, International Coal Price Forecasting tool, Domestic Coal Logistics Management tool, Reliability Centered Maintenance of Thermal and Renewable Plants, etc.On the personal side, I am an ardent Bridge player and enjoy playing Badminton, swimming and reading.
