During my internship at the City of OKC Planning Department, I updated the SNI Neighborhoods Map and managed the SNI website using ArcMap GIS software for high accuracy. I compiled the crucial 2023 SNI Progress Report, analyzed key data for strategic planning, and engaged in public and transportation planning meetings to collect feedback. I also developed maps for the MLK Revitalization Strategy and PPA maps for MAPS4 projects, significantly enhancing urban mobility strategies and visualization of regional transportation improvements. My work demonstrated strong analytical, research, and GIS skills, contributing effectively to various urban planning initiatives.

During my time, I worked on various projects in small towns including Westville, Talihina, Hydro, Texola, Luther and other small towns. I also helped in organizing the Atlanta BeltLine: A Storytelling Event, and the Route 66 Retreat. I am particularly proud of the Westville project, which received several grants, including the TSET Healthy Incentives Grant, TSET Innovations in Built Environment Grant, and ODOT Transportation Alternative Grant. The town square project is being funded with the help of these grants and matching donations from partners like The Cherokee Nation. The Westville project also received a Merit Award from the Oklahoma chapter of the ASLA in the Student Design category, recognizing the collaborative work of Landscape Architecture and Regional + City Planning students. Additionally, our team collaborated with numerous organizations, making this experience truly enriching.

As one of the core team members, I played a significant part in the research and methodology of the GAP analysis and contributed to the cluster analysis.Our team worked diligently to identify and address the housing needs across Oklahoma, ensuring that our findings were both accurate and actionable. We collaborated closely with developers to create a comprehensive website featuring both static and interactive maps designed for a variety of users, from policymakers to community members.Most of my analysis and ideas were integral to the research paper that stemmed from this project. Although I was not included as a co-author since I did not participate in writing the paper, I am proud of the significant contributions I made to the project's success.
