I am the COO of METR, a non-profit evaluating the risk posed by AI systems. I lead METR's external relationships with AI developers such as OpenAI and Anthropic, other evaluators (including within and outside government), and donors.I also advise AI start-ups and non-profits on strategy, fundraising, and risk and regulatory management. Previously, I was a Partner with McKinsey & Company, and Head of Integration at Apollo Global Management. I have experience serving clients across the globe across a range of sectors and topics, in particular in the Insurance, Asset Management, and Private Equity industries. I read Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the University of Oxford, and was Vice-President (Librarian) of the Oxford Union.
