I am currently a Principal and Managing Director of Austechnologies Oz Pty Ltd and former Founder/Chief Executive Officer of CITIC HIC Australia / Global General Manager of CITIC Heavy Industry China, and a highly motivated individual, with extraordinary leadership skills and over 42 years’ experience in the global mineral processing industry. During my career, I have:• Designed and delivered tailored in-house manufactured products to clients all over the world, including, but not limited to grinding mills, crushers, HPGRs, rotary kilns, power and metallurgical products such as furnaces. • Been appointed as the director of multiple overseas companies including CITIC SMCC Process Technology, CITIC Heavy Industries Canada, Spain & Chile• Held several managerial positions where I have been responsible for the sales and marketing of capital equipment, tendering, contracting, process engineering, project execution and management, technical support, budgeting, and resourcing.• Held technical positions where I have developed flowsheets/capital costings, provided consultation / guidance on design and sizing of grinding mills / mineral processing plants of varying base metals including Magnetite ore, reviewed and optimised comminution circuits. • Travelled the world to develop meaningful relationships and collaborate with clients, suppliers and other global stakeholders. In doing so, I have been successful in exceeding customer expectations and delivering capital equipment to customers well before pre-defined timelines, well under budget, while maintaining higher than average profit margins.
