As the Head of Section- CSR at UltraTech Cement, I oversee all the activities related to corporate social responsibility, such as liaising with government departments and external stakeholders, planning and implementing initiatives, financial budgeting, procurement, and collaboration with other civil society organizations. I have been leading this role since Oct 2022, after working as an Executive - Livelihood at Transform Rural India for a year.I have a strong academic background in rural management and environmental law and policy, having completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service in 2018 and my Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Law and Policy from National Law University, Delhi in 2020. I also hold a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Dr.M.G.R. Educational And Research Institute. I am passionate about promoting environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles, governance, diversity and inclusion, and sustainable development in the corporate sector and beyond.
