As an intern grower at Perfection Fresh, one of Australia's leading producers of fresh fruit and vegetables, I gained valuable hands-on experience in greenhouse crop production and management. I applied my academic knowledge of plant science, soil science, and pest management to optimize the yield and quality of various crops, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and berries. I also learned how to use advanced technologies, such as climate control, irrigation, and fertigation systems, to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of protected cropping.Before joining Perfection Fresh, I worked as a project manager at DreamWork Solution (DWS), a dynamic commercial institution that specializes in providing technology-based solutions for various sectors, including agriculture, governance, and health. I led and coordinated multiple projects that aimed to promote sustainable agriculture and rural economic growth, such as developing digital platforms for farmers, implementing smart irrigation systems, and conducting market research and analysis. I demonstrated strong communication, data analysis, and report writing skills, as well as a passion for innovation and social impact. I aspire to continue pursuing my career in the field of agriculture and horticulture, and to contribute to the development and advancement of this vital industry.
