Mr. Toprani most recently established the manufacturing company Avanti Corp. Headquartered in Clarksville, Tennessee, Avanti focuses on manufacturing engineered fabrics for use in bedding and mattresses, agriculture, the automotive industry, and more. Rajiv Toprani oversaw all aspects of the company’s development and personally engineered products including 15d filament nonwoven fabric, PP and PE nonwoven fabric, high-tenacity filament fabric, and small converted rolls. He currently oversees machine design and repairs, integration of new technologies, and day-to-day production planning. Avanti markets industrial fabrics to customers throughout North America. Educated at the University of Mumbai, Rajiv Toprani completed his Bachelor’s in Business Economics and Commerce in 1991. Early in his career, he served as President of KT America Corp., in Cranbury, New Jersey. KT America specializes in importing plastic products for sale to domestic wholesale distributors. Active with the company from 1996 to 2008, Rajiv Toprani spearheaded the development of overseas imports. His effective business strategies enabled the company to attain sales of $20 million by 2008.
