- Advise on organizing planned activities in consultation with stakeholders (i.e. the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, the Nepal Agriculture Research Council, state government, municipality, operators of collection centres, cooperatives, farmers, and agrovets)- Prepare and implementation of physical support provision to collection centres and satellite markets;- Support the provision of postharvest handling and marketing of fruit and vegetables to operators of collection centres and satellite markets;- Support on capacity and need assessment of the cooperatives and collection centres;- Plan and manage the implementation of learning programmes on collection centre management and marketing;- Research the market information system at collection centres and satellite markets and identify opportunities to strengthen the system;- In collaboration with relevant government and private institutions, support provision of ICT services and equipment to collection centre members and farmers if necessary;- Document best practices and lessons learnt of the project and support to replicate it;- Support local Implementing organization for collecting data and information and prepare technical report;- Prepare project briefs, technical briefs, data management for reporting requirement for internal and external compliances, - Attend events and conferences on value chain, market system development, market promotion, cooperatives, collection centre management, and postharvest management;- Establish linkage/coordination with NARC and other relevant research/development organization and explore available new technologies for extension;- Identify opportunities to collaborate with private sector actors, service providers and stakeholders for better market linkage and upgrading value chain.
