A computer nerd among biologists.Always in pursuit of challenges in what I'm good at and opportunities to learn from others. I'm at my best when given a sense of purpose - helping team members, making an outreach to the community or contributing to a common good. Perform equally well in the outdoors as in working long hours at the keyboard.Data driven researcher and writer. I'll try to get to the bottom of anything. From extracting and transforming data from various sources to scientific papers and news articles, I'm resourceful and thorough in finding, interpreting and sharing information on any subject. Critical and analytical thinker with an eye for details. Finding a needle in a haystack is how I'd describe fun, easily crunching through large datasets. As an integrity motivated open source enthusiast, I'm perseverant in learning new software and find logical problems great for further developing my programmer skills.Education is my lifelong passion and calling, from guiding tours to nature interpretation. As a tour guide, I strive to know more about everything than an average adult.
