The Magnetic Resonance modality has a wide range of clinical applications aimed at providing advanced image quality and delivering faster and better patient care.My responsibilities are as follows:1. As part of the Software platform team, was responsible for creation and customization of the Windows Operating System to suit MR specific requirements and unattended installation of the OS on different hardware platforms. Introduced Windows 10 with the new line of products in 2017. 2. Development of libraries which are used by other application teams to develop their components.3. Development of the MR Upgrade Automation Tool to automatically import and validate several MR field system configurations at one go and significantly reduce the efforts of manual verification.4. Investigation of customer complaints from systems installed on the field and provide quick solutions.5. Improvement of reliability by supporting periodic upgrades and Service Packs to the Install Base.6. Participation in multiple programs to cater to business requirements and timely delivery.7. Co-ordination with teams from other functions like System Engineering, Verification and Validation, Program Management and Quality.8. Contribution towards Advanced Development programs to explore new opportunities which can augment or improve the current software. As part of this, created a PoC to introduce Real Time Linux as a working platform on the existing scanner sub system.9. Regular Knowledge Sharing and Ramp up sessions for the new joiners to accustom them to the lab systems.

Honeywell Technology Solutions, Bangalore functions as an integral part of Honeywell Aerospace. One of the products - the Integrated Multi-Mode Receiver (IMMR) is currently the only fully digital navigation receiver in the Air Transport industry and is used for navigation and high precision landing. As a Senior Engineer, my key responsibilities here included:1. Development of software responsible for processing and transmission of data within the different sub systems of IMMR using the ARINC-429 and Ethernet protocols while following the DO-178B standards. 2. Participation in discussions involving the analysis of changes in High Level software Requirements and deriving low level requirements while performing impact analysis of changes affecting the design and implementation. This involved discussions with stake holders located in different countries.3. Performing desk reviews for requirement and design documents and Code.4. Analyzing the Software Problem Reports from the Verification and Validation teams and taking corrective actions.5. Quality Management using the Six Sigma Methodologies and Honeywell Operating System.

Bharat Electronics Limited is a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of defense which is responsible for proving electronic equipment and solutions for various wings of the Indian defenseforces. My responsibilities here were:1. Development of Mission critical software for the Fire Control systems which are used forcontrolling the launch and strategically fire at targets while following a command chain.2. Deployment of software in the different sub systems and checking the functionalities by performing Unit Tests, Integration tests and Regression tests. 3. Demonstration of the fully developed system to the end customers through Factory and Site Acceptance Tests and Delivery.4. Providing technical support of the delivered systems for an agreed period of time. This included visits to the sites of deployment, taking note of problems faced by the end users and providing corrective mechanisms while also taking into account any potential requirement changes.5. Development of Simulation/Support software for Integration Tests. This is used for simulating the behavior of systems not developed in-house but is essential for testing the functionality of our systems. 6. End to end Life Cycle management of Software by following the Waterfall model. All the project artifacts follow documentation standards of the Company, are version controlled and certified by agencies nominated by the end customer. 7. Record keeping of hardware components like development boards, cables etc which are necessary for Lab set up and interaction with vendors who provide software tools.
