Fire Protection System Engineer

Working as Mechanical Fire Fighting System Engineer in Project Team at STARCO FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEERS• Attending Kick off Meetings of Projects with Project Manager, Clients or Consultant.• Estimating the materials requirements for project and keep follow the deliveries.• Submission of drawing for Third Party Approvals and Civil Defense approval.• Planning and Scheduling the Project as per the Consultant schedule of Project Completion with requirements. Preparation of Technical Submittals and Documents.• Following the Progress of work in accordance with the Schedule & flow of NFPA, UAE fire code. Quality Control of all Activities related to Fire Fighting and Fire Protection System.• Monitoring the Project variations and follows the coordination’s with Project management team.• Arranging the Suppliers of all materials and coordinating of Installation, Testing and Commissioning, with presence of Project team.• Every Variation, changes, completion status of Project has been reporting to GM.• Also handling the maintenance projects by completing and rectifying the errors of works for Civil Defense Inspections and Approvals.

Estimating and Costing through the initial drawing from the client and preparing quotation as per the requirement of Civil Defense regulation. Responsible for Supply, Installing, programming, Testing and Commissioning as per the Civil Defense Regulation. Before the Civil defense Inspection, my work to follow up the clients and rectifying the issues on System which we installed. And face to attend the Inspection and making it as Success. Estimating and Follow ups the site Construction of All Fire Fighting, Alarm, Self- Monitoring System with FM 200, Fire Hood Suppression at restaurants and Hotels also all types of Fire Extinguishers. Fire sprinkler systems, wet and dry riser systems, fire hydrants & fire pump systems. Fire detection and alarm system, Fire extinguishers CO2 & dry powder extinguishers, clean agent extinguishing (FM-200). Emergency voice evocation and communication system. Third-Party Interfacing like Elevator/Lift, Sliding door, Gas leak detection, Fresh air handling unit, Shunt Relay system & wet chemical system.
