He is the co-founder and MD of payAgri Innovations, a seed-to-farm-to-market model that connects small farmers and Food Processors to the global markets, promoting bio-inputs cultivation, seamless food quality, zero waste management, and scientific primary processing methods.Raj is also a farmer, an investor, a board advisor, and an emerging tech explorer. He was instrumental in founding TerraGreen - a carbon farming, contract farming, controlled farming, and bio-fertilizer company that has developed a bio-carbon product that improves soil fertility and reduces carbon footprint. He also invested in and advised Farmsys, a frugal agritech startup that enables small and marginal farmers to use technology to reduce cost of cultivation and increase yield. Raj has a strong background in investment banking, management consulting, and business development, with a focus on agri and food, rural impact, media, renewable energy, infrastructure, BFSI, and education sectors. He has travelled extensively across international finance hubs and business centers, and has gained a good understanding of diverse range of finance, marketing, and business management functions.
