I have over 25 years of experience in the technology financial services industry in Wealth Management, Strategic Technology & Architecture, Treasury Services and Primary & Secondary Securities Market. As CIO at AdvisorEngine | Franklin Templeton, I am focused on helping wealth management firms harness data across CRM and portfolio management to deliver personalization at scale. Prior to joining AdvisorEngine, I was Managing Director at Pershing | BNY Mellon. There, I managed the Common Services, Architecture and Innovation division. Along with managing many teams, I also served as Pershing’s Digital Officer, a Technology Executive Committee member, and a Technology Priority Committee member. In this role, I created the Advanced Technology Labs that produced multiple innovations for Pershing technology solutions. I began my career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, working primarily with the government auction security system. In this role, I became deeply involved with financial technology. I also began to teach Java at a local school and went on to teach at Columbia University and New York University. In college, I studied both communications and computer science. I earned a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Arts and Media, along with a Certificate in Finance and Series 7 & 24. When I am not building financial technology solutions, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two grown sons. I am also a weekend athlete and enjoy playing tennis.
