Raj Naik is a seasoned business executive with 20+ years of startup and general management experience leading high-performing teams. Throughout his career, he has successfully built and managed profitable, innovative, and disruptive businesses and business units. Raj is the founder of Next Inflection Group, a strategic consulting firm specializing in startup financing, scaling, and exits, as well as testing new business models through its startup studio. Raj was previously the COO of Real (NASDAQ: REAX), one of the world's fastest-growing real estate technology companies. Real offers an end-to-end platform revolutionizing the home buying process while making the agents that make it all happen more productive and successful. Raj was previously Managing Director and member of the executive leadership team at Workrise, an Andreessen Horowitz-backed "unicorn" technology company. Workrise is building the world's largest skilled trades labor marketplace, connecting workers with high-paying opportunities and matching service providers and operators with the workforce that will get the job done.Prior to joining Workrise, Raj was previously CEO of KEY, an early-stage startup delivering luxury hospitality services and local, curated experiences to travelers through its three-sided marketplace. Prior to joining KEY, Raj spent four years holding various leadership roles within the Eats, Finance, and Rides business units at Uber. Raj was most recently the GM of Enterprise Partnerships for Uber Eats. Prior to this role, Raj was the GM of Uber Eats Mid-Atlantic. In this role, he held P&L responsibility for a large and profitable business unit covering DC, MD, VA, WV, and NC. Raj was previously a leader in the company’s leasing and lending subsidiary, Xchange. Before that Raj was Uber's GM of North Carolina.Raj co-founded Riva Commerce (later Conformia Software), a business intelligence software developer focusing on regulatory and compliance solutions. The startup was backed by notable investors and later acquired by Oracle.Beyond his executive roles, Raj is deeply involved in the startup ecosystem as an angel investor and Venture Partner at NextGen Venture Partners since 2016.Raj earned his MBA and MA in Government from Johns Hopkins University. He is also a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill where he attended on a Duke Power Scholarship.
