I am Raj Narayanam, a Hyderabad-based entrepreneur and investor with a passion for ideating, creating, and building technology solutions that significantly impact the world of business.My commitment to the Indian startup ecosystem is strong. I promote.Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of conceptualizing, building and scaling several successful ventures including Zaggle, one of India’s fastest-growing FinTech companies and eYantra, a pioneering corporate merchandising company in India. My journey has been powered by a love for nurturing new ideas, mentoring entrepreneurs and championing initiatives that push the boundaries of what is possible.Starting my career at PwC in the USA in the late nineties and eventually taking Zaggle public with an IPO in 2023 that was oversubscribed by over 13 times, my professional journey has been challenging, exciting and exhilarating.My passion for innovation extends beyond my own ventures. I have directly or through AIFs invested in over 47 companies across various sectors, including Loylty Rewardz, BookMyBai, Evolve Snacks, WizFreight, Finbox, Incent and Unbox Robotics.As an entrepreneur, operator, and investor, I constantly seek out passionate entrepreneurs with groundbreaking ideas. My investment thesis is based on three key factors: scalability, technology-driven solutions and global potential.Beyond the professional sphere, I like to keep life interesting. Whether playing cricket, golf, or spending time on my farm growing organic vegetables and contributing to the Green Movement, I believe the work-life balance I maintain ensures well thought-through decisions.I have also chronicled the journeys of fellow entrepreneurs through publications like Made in Hyderabad and 30 Power Women of Hyderabad. I’ve had the honor of addressing conventions worldwide, evangelizing startups in job creation and promoting innovative management concepts. Cultivating business and social entrepreneurship is a favorite topic of mine.I am deeply passionate about promoting education for girls, as I firmly believe empowering them uplifts families and communities.
