Coming from a very humble background continuously challenged me to rung up the ladder in my professional career. I started my journey as a senior guest service supervisor in 2004 and grew up to be an HOD in 2009 then to an Executive Committee Member role in 2013. One of the key milestones of my career was to get promoted to the full time General Manager of an upscale property in 2018, just over 13 years of my professional pursuit. All of this was a result of sheer hard work, commitment, dedication and desire to relentlessly contribute towards the success of the team and organization.My first stint as a GM steered the hotel's overall performance year on year wherein the team under my leadership delivered exceptional results on each and every parameter of the balanced scorecard and as a recognition I was nominated for the "Leadership Excellence" award in the APEC region for Marriott International and also as the "Diamond GM of the year" award for the Courtyard brand globally.My 2nd stint as a GM started as the first employee of a pre-opening team for the first Courtyard branded resort in India and I had the opportunity to set this from scratch. With my prior experiences of pre-opening, I could lead the team effectively and the resort was rightly positioned as per the plan which resulted in outstanding results across all metrics particularly financials as the business was profitable from the very first month of opening. The superlative efforts made by the team under my leadership resulted in winning 15+ accolades such as “Best new resort in India”, “Best new MICE & Wedding resort”, Best content award in APEC.I was recognised as the "Best General Manager-upscale" and "General Manager of the year"(Best of the Best) at HVS ANAROCK conference held in Feb 24 at Goa and again as the "Best General Manager of the year" for upscale and upper upscale category by Hotelivate in April 24 at their conference in Bengaluru.I have an exceptional track record of 20 years having worked for many hotels across multiple locations including 7 pre-opening hotel projects that helped me to gain in-depth knowledge of processes and positioning, I have enjoyed extremely rewarding results at both Taj where I worked for almost 4 years and Marriott International which has been part of my journey for 16 years and continues. I look forward to continue delivering exceptional results on all parameters of the scorecard of the organization that I would be working for in future.
