I'm a post-graduate student from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela in the Mechanical Engineering department specializing in the field of Thermal Engineering, Advanced Fluid mechanics, Cryogenic systems and Optimization method in Engineering Design with the help of Ansys Fluent Software. Presently, I'm working at Mechartes Researchers Pvt. Ltd as a CFD Engineer and Experienced in using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques for solving various engineering problems in the following domains.-Fire and smoke movement simulations of Enclosed Parking Garages, Atriums, Tunnels, and Auditoriums along with safe occupant evacuation.-Ventilation system analysis of pollutant dispersion in parking basements-Thermal Comfort analysis for indoor air quality in enclosed spaces.-External Flow Analysis for chillers and cooling towers.Skills & Core competencies:- Check all available inputs in the drawings and documents for a particular project.- Identify missing inputs then either make prudent assumptions or ask the client to provide those inputs.- Planning and execution of CFD Projects for engineering phenomenon verification and validation.- Providing design recommendations and directions in the early stages of product/process design.- Responsibility for pre-processing, solving and post-processing of numerical simulations.- Conducting tests like grid independence, time step size determination, UDF coding etc. to ensure the simulation is accurate and optimized.- Verifying that simulations follow basic laws of physics.- Doing research to understand simulation methodology for new kinds of projects in the company.- CFD analysis with the help of various CFD Tools/Software.- Performing CFD analysis associated with Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer & Mass Transfer.- Preparation of project report.CFD Tools/Software• CAD tools: AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Spaceclaim, Salome• Post-processing tools: Paraview, SmokeView, Xnconvert, VideoEncoder, Ansys• Meshing: Ansys Fluent(watertight geometry)• Programming Language: MATLAB, Python, JavaI believe in working together as a team and always willing to learn from others.
