Nayapay is Pakistan’s first licensed Electronic Money Institution.• Working in a very specialized (PhD’s) and small team of AI engineers, I reported to the Head of AI Research andDevelopment Projects. In the absence of a PM, my responsibilities other than those of an AI software engineer alsoincluded stakeholder management, project management and performance evaluation of the team’s various solutions.• Deployed a e-KYC solution to automate customer onboarding by using vision and text extraction AI technologies tovalidate identity documents for the payments app. Went on to use similar technologies to also integrate automated bill payments into the app by generic scanning and processing of utility bills.• Developed a predictive analysis algorithm for a CSP company in the group that allowed cloud customers (B2B) to upgrade processing and storage packages when nearing resource allocation limits.• Developed a computer vision based IoT solution to solve for shelf inventory counting overheads in large-scale warehouses for a group company.• Designed a simple recommendation system based on collaborative and content filtering for a major food chain.

YC Startup School is a program for founders actively pursuing their own startup. This program aims to accomplish the following:1. Encourage and inspire people to consider starting a company as a way to positively impact the world.2. Teach people how to start a startup, and equip them with the resources and tools to help prepare them now and in the future.3. Build a community of entrepreneurs who can encourage, teach and support one another.

Building and leading a community of 100+ student developers on my campus to solve local and global problems such as the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. Extending technical knowledge and expertise to undergraduate students by inviting experts to bridge the gap between industry and academia.

Worked and learned with the Head of Data Science and Chief Solution Architect at IX. Used the MEAN stack to develop web apps. Began working on Data Science and AI in Python and R.
