In 2021, I was co-leading a group of twelve budding mountaineer climbers down Mount Rainier during a sudden onset of a white-out storm with gusting sixty mile-per-hour winds. Sensing fear and confidence falling apart within the group, in that moment of crisis I intuitively completed the risk assessment needed, strategized a plan, prepared the team, and guided them back to safety at the trailhead. In seemingly impossible or unexplored situations, I won’t take no for an answer. Throughout my life I’ve been able to quickly adapt to challenges and opportunities by diligently gathering data, and then strategizing and formulating a plan to move forward. This has contributed to personal and organizational transformations. It has influenced my leadership strategy while walking unexplored landscapes in all domains of life, including my professional work. I thrive in seemingly impossible or unexplored situations. Throughout my life, I have embraced multiple roles: IT professional, fitness coach, stage actor, mountaineering leader, and devoted dad.
