Expert Database Administrator - Oracle
CurrentManage and monitor Oracle databases (12c, 18c & 19c) required for all env on Linux servers.Installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle databases 12c, 18c and 19c Create DBs through understanding of Oracle architecture, Instance, logical and physical structure level.Database upgrade from 12, 18c to 19c using DBUA and manually.Database (Dev, QA, Test) cloning/refresh using RMAN Backup-based/Active duplicate/ZDLRA appliance.Creating physical standby database (Active Data Guard), configure Data Guard broker and maintenance. Perform DR activity for Active Data Guard, Cascade and Snapshot standby databases.Configure physical backup and recovery strategies using Oracle’s RMAN utility.Restoring and recovery of Oracle databases in various scenarios.Logical backup and restore using Data pump (expdp & impdp) utility.PSU/RU/RUR/OJVM/One-off patch - Patch apply on cluster/DB and GI standalone.Install, configure and maintenance of Grid Infrastructure 12c/19c (ASM) on Cluster & standalone server.Add, delete/drop disks, storage migration for storage management & performance in ASM environment.Standalone ASM and cluster stack upgrade from 12c, 18c to 19c version using OUI or silent mode.Generate, review, and analyze AWR, ASH and ADDM Report for database performance analysis.Performance Tuning – SQL queries, Database and RMAN backup.Troubleshoot cluster related issues using srvctl or crsctl utility or by reviewing cluster logs.Install, configure, and manage Oracle Golden Gate 12c, 19c version and perform maintenance.Add/Remove/Stop/Start/Sync GG processes and troubleshoots extract/replicate failure issues etc. Good knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager 13cR4/5 Grid Control for DBA environment.Providing support for database issues on 24x7 and responding to critical situations (On-call).SNOW ticketing tool to manage INC, CHG, REQ, PBI, and Jira Tool for user/project requests (SRs).SR escalation to oracle support on issues related to PROD environment.
