LEAF DIVISION (1997 - 1999) -Exposure to tobacco, types, cultivation practices, farm grading system and marketing process.Leaf handling operations (buying, classification, grading, GLT & storage).Independently handled the leaf operation - classification & grading of TRAD & NLS crop.BLENDING EXPOSURE (1999-2000) -Exposure to blending, types of blends and various aspects of blending.Process of product development both for domestic & exports.Cigarette designing & cigarette specifications.Cigarette manufacturing process (PMD, CMD & CPD).Marketing & sales.DOMESTIC - BLENDING & PRODUCT DEVELOPEMNT (2000-2004) -In charge of domestic blends - In terms of consistency of blends.As per marketing brief - Enhancement of current blends OR development of new blends for domestic market.Tobacco inventory management.EXPORTS - BLENDING & PRODUCT DEVELOPEMNT (2004-2011) -In charge of export blends – In terms of consistency of blends.Development of new blends as per the brief from the export team.Tobacco inventory management.CORE MEMBER OF CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAM FOR BLENDING & PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (2011-2015) -Core member of the cross functional team responsible for blend development & launch of 16 variants of New King Size Brand.
