Deputy Manager Engineering
• To study and understand the project specifications, the scope of work, and details of the project.• Monitoring and managing design and detailed engineering activities.• Preparation of 3D models of pressure vessels using Solid-works & review fabrication drawings with consideration of welding details, heat treatment, geometrical tolerances, and machining feasibility.• Review of tender specification, and tender drawing.• Responsible for Mechanical calculations of equipment, and selection of material.• Preparation and checking of technical purchase specifications, material requisition for procurement of material & mechanical datasheet.• Project work Scheduling, Project Planning, and Reporting & Expediting.• Conduct review meetings with clients and vendors and resolve their queries.• Prepared design package for ASME U Designator Vessel and faced ASME audit with ASME team leader.• Preliminary calculation of pressure vessel at inquiry stage for material estimation.• Estimation of raw materials & provide support to marketing in the pre-bid stage.• Good knowledge of ASTM, ASME code & various standards & their use in design and calculation.• Ability to handle a team of engineers & draftsmen.• Project Handled: a) Dehydrator Vessel. (Customer_ Oil India Ltd)b) Model Cart System. (Customer_Tata Projects Ltd/VSSC)c) PDHRS Condenser. (Customer_NPCIL)
