As a Data Science Programmer, I have had the chance to work in a variety of industries, including mining, Astrophysics, education, and finance.My present project is the creation of a software application for site-based personnel to conduct safety checks. I'm assisting my team in the development of a new application and assisting them in continuing their journey towards a paperless future.Prior to this, I was working on the application of machine learning algorithms, in particular, "Deep learning’’ to astronomical data sets (e.g., galaxy images). This project is to train convolutional neural networks (CNNs) using a large number of galaxy images for the purpose of predicting the total mass of dark matter in galaxies.Overall, my experience has been a fantastic combination of Data Scientist and Software Engineer.
