• Establishing of strategies and goals of the environmental section.• Prepare environmental procedures as needed to assure that all jobs, employees’ activities and equipment operation are complying with environmental objectives and requirements. .• Make critical decisions regarding environmental activities based on technical knowledge and expertise to solve problems correctly and safely with minimum cost.• Update Company Policies and procedures according to Jordan regulations and corporate requirements, to assure JBC is complying with Laws and regulations.• Maintain an updated Environmental calendar for frequent occurring activities to make sure they are done on timely basis.• Act as a Management Representative (MR) to the site on implementing the Quality Management System ISO9001, Environmental Management System ISO14001 and in the Voluntary Emission Control Action Program VECAP. • Ensure JBC plants are collecting, packaging, and disposing its waste according to Jordan and corporate procedures• Ensure that different JBC departments are complying with Environmental laws and regulations which is reflected in the Environmental Monitoring Program results.• Ensure that Environmental audits/ incidents corrective actions are adequate and closed on timely basis• Ensure Site compliance with the updated EIA study• Conduct EHA studies for the site according to Corporate procedures• Provide the employee`s annual environmental training and new emplyees environmental training.• Set the Environmental budget and financial forecasting and participate in financial performance review.• Establishment of methods and strategies to reduce cost and improve performance.

-Follow and comply with the company SHE policy.-Lead Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) on existing and new processes. Also manage the unit PHA review schedule and follow up recommendations and implementation plans.-Modifying and updating all Process Safety Information (P&ID’s, procedures, etc.) to meet the company PSM program compliance. -Identify problems that limit adherence to set environmental emission limits of RC standards for gaseous, liquid, solid or particulate emissions. -Supervise implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 as applicable.-Issuing MOC’s for any changes to the processes and following up on related action items. -Provide technical support to operation team and assist on issues such as process troubleshooting, equipment reliability and product quality. -Interfacing with Process & Project Engineering as the production representative for area capital projects.-Ensure unit operating procedures are followed by conducting regular audits and manage the scheduled revisions for the same.-Implement a process control program (control charts, Pi data extraction and analysis, DOG , etc..) to the unit to maximize productivity and product yield. -Assisting Maintenance and planning with preparation for annual turnaround work.-Prepare and present daily production reports (Material and Energy Balances) for the unit superintendent.-Providing training to operators on new processes.
