Whenever I get the chance to speak or write about my professional and educational background and experiences, It just amazes me how much I have been through and how much I was able to achieve with the past decade. I am a Biomedical Engineering undergraduate from Jimma university Institute of technology and a Biomedical Rehabilitation Engineering post graduate from Addis Ababa University Institute of technology.As a student, I used to be one of those students that had to love a lesson and make sense of it to be successful. I was close to excellent while doing assignments and projects but not that much on exams and formal academics. Any of my teachers in under as well as postgraduate classes can testify how well I prepared as well as presented, written and verbal, assignments and projects. I guess that shows that I am more of a person of the actual practical part of academia rather than the formal straightforward academia. This behavior truly paid off as it got me to be a paid employee in two areas before I even completed my undergraduate class. While attending internship in the 4th year of my undergraduate class, I got hired by a research team at Jimma university as a presented and assistant researcher and also by two language centers in Addis Ababa as a communication English instructor. You would think that I would be overwhelmed with two jobs at a time; three if you count being a student, but I was quiet a natural at both jobs. Because I have being doing it all since childhood except as hobbies, not jobs. After this great professional journey inception, I ventured in to consecutive years of amazing, vast, enriching jobs. I have been a teacher for all range of students, I have been a radio program cohost, I have been a researcher and assistant researcher, I have been Sales and Marketing coordinator, I have been tender manager, Sales team leader, sales department manager and I am now an Account manager for Non profit and International Accounts. It is wonderful to be a part of LinkedIn and get to share thoughts and experiences with senior as well as Junior colleagues.
