Hi,This is Rakesh Agarwal. I always believe in hard work and always take "never give up" and "nothing is impossible" approach.In spite of hailing from a very humble background and having so many constraints, I started as a Trainee and raise to the rank of "Vice-President" in my career span of more than 20 years.I believe in God and feel everybody has got something special which can help realize any dream.I started my career in Usha International Limited as a Accounts Trainee and spent 6 years becoming the youngest Commercial In-charge of the company in the process.After 2+ years in Aircel, I joined Airtel in Apr'2007. Since then it was a pure roller coaster ride for me in Airtel for last 12+ years. I rose from rank of "Assistant Manager" to "Vice-President" of the company in less than 12 year time.In last 12 years in Airtel, I am adjudged "exceptional contributor" 7 times. Exceptional contributor are only around 2-3% of the top cream of the company. My work area spans from basic accounting to channel role to process control to business partnering and right now I am heading the finance controller division for India business.In Nov'2019, I joined Metropolis Healthcare Limited (2nd biggest Diagnostic company in India) as CFO. Last one and half year journey in MHL has been great and many fundamental changes are worked upon in system, process and structure. A very good learning experience in totally different industry. Lead the acquisition of Hitech (biggest acquisition in Diagnostic industry) successfully. Also heading Legal, Secretarial and Commercial areas in MHL.I have done exceptionally well in business role providing lot of support to CEO in day to day operation including revenue and profit management. I am confident for doing any kind of role but business role suits me better.I graduated in commerce in 1998 (Gold Medalist). I started working since then due to financial constraints but never gave up studies. I did my MBA from "Assam Institute of Management" securing second position in the institute. I pursued Company Secretary and completed it in 2012.I am married and have two sons. I am fun loving guy, very found of travelling and almost visited 25 countries so far. I like to mingle with new people and make new friends. At free time I love to watch movies and cricket.I would love to answer any of your further question.
