At age 29, Rakesh was the Chief Executive of American Universal – a large light engineering manufacturer & Marketing Head for the real estate division of DLF. A decade later, he donned a new career path as an entrepreneur and in the next 5 years established an export house, several manufacturing enterprises and set up the Star Academy.He has led his manufacturing ventures to leadership status in their respective lines of business and has also acquired and exited enterprises along the way. His entrepreneurial journey has been across sectors including trading, manufacturing, training & retail.The Star Academy works with UN agencies and the corporate world across South Asia and the Middle East in the area of leadership, team building, and personal effectiveness.Rakesh has trained under Jack Canfield and Tim Piering, America’s #1 peak performance trainers and author of the New York Times #1 series Chicken Soup for the Soul and is also a certified MBTI & NLP practitioner apart from having attended the Kennedy School of Govt. (Harvard University).
