I am Rakesh, working as a Battery system engineer in FEV, France since May 2023. I am responsible for designing battery concept developments and cell performance testing for automotive vehicles. I colloborated with various OEMS such as Stellantis, Ferrari, Renault.I have previously worked as a Lithium ion cell development engineer with 4 years experience in Segula, Capgemini and Renault, France. I served as validation and test engineer post for gap filler component in EV, HEV, PHEV. I undergone different Electrochemical characterization and wrote test reports for 20 Ah, 48V Lithium ion battery for micro hybrid vehicles.Education:I completed my Doctor in Electrochemistry and PhD defense date: 13/09/2018.Thesis Title: Thick binder free electrodes for Li-ion batteries using Spark Plasma Sintering & Templating. Description:During my PhD thesis, I fabricated thick binder free LiFePO4 (LFP), Li4Ti5O12 (LTO), SnSb, Na3V2(PO4)2F3 (NVPF) electrodes for Li and Na ion batteries using Spark Plasma Sintering and salt templating approach. A systematic study of LFP electrodes was done by varying porosity, pore size and thickness and their influence on the electrochemical properties are studied. I carried out various characterization studies using XRD, TGA, SEM, TEM and Micro computed tomography (μ-CT) and electrochemical testing such as cyclic voltammetry, electrical impedance using symmetrical cells and galvanostatic cycling measurements.
