As a Delivery Manager at IBM India, I am overseeing the Bestseller Fashion Retail Google Data Lake project, where I successfully delivered an enterprise-grade data lake for BESTSELLER’s Asian operations. This data lake integrates information from various sources and feeds data into a GCP cloud reporting system, effectively replacing the legacy Business Objects (BO) and Power BI reports. The technologies utilized in this project include GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, compute engines, Power BI and Jira.

Worked as Offshore Lead for BI Liquidity Reporting, Bank of India (BOI).The project involved developing a centralized data warehouse application to address various reporting needs, with a focus on liquidity reporting. It required integrating over 20 different source systems, including third-party systems, into the DWH application and managing incremental data flow capture. Additionally, data models were designed across various functions such as accounts, deposits, and loans.Tools & Technologies: Teradata (for ETL and data warehousing), Informatica, Power BI (for reporting).Lead the large Offshore team. I was responsible for end to end project management and delivery management. Aside this, was taking care of client communication, vendor management, status reporting to Leadership. I was also responsible for financial management and meeting the organisation goals.People management was also the key responsibility.

I worked as a Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence SME on the Teradata platform, where I was responsible for writing complex SQL queries, developing UNIX scripts, and building ETL pipelines to meet data visualization needs for a major telecom client in India. My role involved leading major system enhancements, new developments, and data migration projects from Teradata to Netezza and Big Data platforms. I supported a large data warehouse system, managing data related to prepaid and postpaid customers, including call detail records (CD-R), billing, recharge, revenue, and GPRS data.Throughout my tenure, I held various technical positions including Senior Developer, Team Lead, Tech Lead, Application Architect, and Technical Project Manager. I oversaw end-to-end project and delivery management, working closely with cross-functional teams and a large IT client organization. In addition, I was responsible for client communication, vendor management, and status reporting to leadership. I also worked as a Business Analyst in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for Maxis Telecom.

As a software engineer, I worked as a Teradata developer on a mainframe platform utilizing JCL and COBOL. In this role, I supported CBA bank on an enhancement project, where I was responsible for monitoring and resolving production issues, as well as enhancing the existing product. I worked within an offshore-onshore model, and during the project, I earned certifications in both Mainframe and Teradata technologies.
