This involved proposing enhancements aimed at improving efficiency across various processes. I created Data Stage jobs to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources, including relational databases and flat files, ensuring seamless integration into data warehouses. To guide project development, I gathered business requirements from users, such as insurance policy managers, and drafted comprehensive Business Requirement Specifications (BRS). Additionally, I performed requirement analysis and developed Use Cases and Activity Diagrams using UML, clarifying requirements and enhancing communication among stakeholders.To optimize database performance, I utilized Query Analyzer and Execution Plans, enhancing SQL queries to reduce response times for end users. I identified necessary Business and System Narrative Use Cases, creating UML diagrams, including Use Case Diagrams and Activity Diagrams using Microsoft Visio. My understanding of business logic and user requirements enabled me to develop effective Test Plans and Test Cases that aligned with project goals. Furthermore, I converted SQL statements into stored procedures, which reduced database accesses and improved application performance. By leveraging tools like SSRS for report generation and Excel for data analysis, I provided valuable insights to stakeholders. I also integrated Salesforce for customer relationship management and utilized Google Analytics to track user engagement, ultimately creating interactive dashboards with Power BI for real-time access to key performance indicators.
